I have this constant bitter taste in my mouth. is it something to do with my liver or kidneys? in the loo, urine seems darker in bottom clear on top.

Blood tests: For liver and kidney function will tell you for sure. Urine color can be dark with jaundice, caused by hepatitis. Stop guessing and get medical help.
