I am: Not sure which doctor your refer to. The radiologist's report is normally available after 24 hours. You can usually call the imaging center where you had the study and tell them you would like a copy of the report. You can drop by and they will give it to you.

Yes: Usually the hida scan is read by either a radiologist or a specialist in nuclear medicine at the hospital or clinic where your test was performed. You should contact the department to see if the scan was not read because someone forgot to show it the doctor. I am sure that a doctor will see your scan rapidly. You can always ask for a cd of your study and show it to a specialist. Good luck.

Try office manager: Call the office of physician performing study and talk to office manager. The physician is obliged to read the study. He can not be paid without results received by patient or patient's physician.
