Goiter/FNA: Thyroid mass can be a goiter, cyst or solid mass. Cancer is possible, but there are several other potential causes that are not cancer. The first test is fna, fine needle aspiration to help determine the cause and next step in treatment. If you do end up with a diagnosis of thyroid cancer, it is treatable and has a pretty good prognosis. Don't delay, medication and monitoring may be all you need.
