This needs: attention as soon as practicable but no diagnosis is possible without TESTING which may include CT, and specialized THYROID SCANNING! A biopsy (needle) may also be required! Your PCP may wish to refer you to a Board Certified ENDOCRINOLOGIST! Hope this helps! Dr Z
