Is it okay/safe for me to use "amitriptyline" for chronic headaches or a migraines?

Yes: If this medication was prescribed to you by your doctor for chronic headaches it is safe for you to take. Amitriptyline is not a pain medication however and would more likely work for suppression of headaches than acute treatment of a single headache.
