Should i be worried if my baby has white spots at the end of its tongue?

Have him checked out: Could be scratch, burn, ulcer, or so many other things. At 21 months he should ave started going to dentist 9 months age. Please call dentist or pediatric dental specialist for appointment to have the white spots evaluated. Hopefully this is a transient problem, but need exam to make sure.

White on tongue: It could be milk, especially if a powdered formula is used. However if it does not scrape or wipe away with a wet cloth. Then it could be thrush, a yeast infection in the mouth. Look at her gums too and inner cheeks it can spread. The doctor will give you some yummy drops for her mouth to kill the fungus.
