A member asked:

Can you please discuss the consequence of the raising up of insulin level( after taking food)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Insulin: The Insulin level rises in order to store excess carbohydrates that were consumed at your last meal. The body only uses about 35 grams of carbs at one sitting. The rest get stored and Insulin is responsible for making the storage happen.
