Which is the optimum sleeping pill/medicine for a 14 hour flight?

Melatonin: Melatonin is the natural chemical that makes you fall asleep. Your pharmacist can tell you if it's a good fit for you. Some people will try benadryl, tylenol (acetaminophen) pm, or unisom over the counter. All sleeping pills have side effects, so discuss it with your doctor before taking them.

Depends: Without knowing your history difficult to say, but many people use Ambien (zolpidem) successfully for flights of that duration.
