For quick,temporary relief, taking antacids like tums or maalox according to instructions helps. For additional relief& prevention a daily acid blocker like pepcid.can be used. Of course dietary measures are also required. Avoid alcohol,excess caffeine& meds like aspirin,advil,aleve. See your MD as needed.
