Does job insecurity cause depression?

WORRY-->DEPRESSION: Yes! , excessive worry may cause depression. With the 'tough economy' out there i believe that the fear of loosing a job, w/paycheck, benefits, etc. Must weight on everyone's mind. So how to cope?--exercise has been shown to decrease stress. Avoid alcohol --it just deepens depression. 'get with people' --don't isolate yourself. And if any destructive thoughts--please get help! hang in there!
