YES: Please consult your PCP and have medication prescribed or adjusted. I would also recommend psychotherapy ( CBT-cognitive behavioral therapy ) . I would also suggest that you read The Relaxation Response by Herbert Benson, M.D., practice yoga, aromatherapy, massage therapy, painting, coloring or learn a new instrument: the brain has its' own natural calming chemicals, endorphins.

Depressed at no job: Being unemployed over time can trigger depression and related symptoms such as anxiety, OCD. You may be more vulnerable because of preexisting anxiety. Do keep a daily routine, consider volunteering to network and avoid isolation. Stay connected to family and friends. If depression continues or worsens, consider getting help at a low-cost clinic for support and guidance. I hope this helps.

Feeling out of: control increases the probability of OCD symptoms. Depression is a form of what some professionals call "learned helplessness." You have a job, which is to find a job. Try not to measure your self-worth by your job. See a mental health professional to help you w/the symptoms you mention. Learn skills, not just medication. Peace and good health. Complete control of life is an illusion.
