Depends: Abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) are watched closely, operated on, or treated with endovascular stent grafting, all while strictly controlling blood pressure. Treatment depends on size of the aaa, age and condition of the patient, and other factors. At minimum it should be followed closely by a doctor. This can be a generalist, cardiologist, or surgeon (often vascular or cardiovascular).
