A member asked:

I'm wondering why are gallstones causing me so much pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gallstones: Cause pain by biliary colic, which happens when gallbladder contracts against a stone obstructing the outlet. It can also cause acute cholecystitis, which is an infection in the gb. Best to have your gb removed surgically for definitive cure.
