Varies: Fungal culture can be taken in pcp's office or in clinic. Testing for fungus is usually done by a hospital lab or a place that provides lab services to docs' offices. Some dermatologists are equipped to do fungal cultures in their office. Results may take a few days to couple weeks depending on what fungus is being grown/tested.
