Dysparunea: If you are less than 6 weeks out from your hyst, you shouldn't be having sex yet. This could be vaginal dryness from lack of estrogen or vaginal cuff pain. After hysterectomy you may loose a bit of vaginal length, especially in the menopause. Your partner may have to avoid deep penetration during sex. See a gyn for an exam.

Not normal. : Need to see your doctor to determine the cause. Women should not have painful intercourse from a hysterectomy. Hope this helps.
