Is it legal to self medicate hormones my self or do i have to see the doctor? will i be breaking the law if i purchase and self medicate myself?

Legality of hormones: Some hormones like thyroid hormone, testosterone, and growth hormone are regulated as prescription medicine and are only legally available with prescription. Others like dhea and melatonin are available otc. That being said, it is rarely helpful or safe to take extra hormones in the absence of a defined deficiency.
