Up to few centimeter: Lung granulomas are usually tiny and can only be observed in lung tissue under the microscope. In long standing cases of TB or other non infectious conditions such as chronic granulomatous disease (cgd) they can sometimes grow up to a few centimeters. Granulomatous inflammation can also occur in the lymph nodes inside the chest, causing them to enlarge significantly to several inches in some cases.
