A member asked:

Is a 6cm lung tumour big?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes it is: Any tumor over 2-3cm is considered big. But size alone does not determine its seriousness, which is often based on biopsy findings, type of tumor and grade of the tumor under the microscope. Ultimately it is the stage of cancer you need to know because the treatment and prognosis depend on the final stage of this tumor.
