A member asked:

Why do my amalyse and crp levels come up in tests when i have pain in my belly and under right side of my ribs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rule out...: CRP is famously nonspecific, but amylase (if it's really considerably up) is suggesting pancreatitis from cause -- there are genetic forms, varieties related to gallstones, to alcohol (i doubt either of your meds is a cause); if mild perhaps to reflux. Imaging and perhaps endoscopy are needed not to much to explain the labs as explain the pain episodes. Good luck & stay proactive.
