My last q was i am having nerve pain in palate i have been told but no nerve pain meds are working i am confused by this its not rite 2 sufer 24-7?

I agree with you.: Pain medication only "covers up" the pain and does not remove the cause. The cause of the pain needs to be ascertained. Only then can you expect to feel relief. Have you seen a general dentist? An oral surgeon" an ENT specialist? We all want to help you but can't over the internet. If you have seen a doctor, call for further advice, and if you haven't, you will need to see one. Feel better.

See doctor: Your palate pain may by coming from your sinus, or a bad tooth you need to have an ENT physician or dentist evaluate it. You can't rely on pain meds to work.

Palate pain: It sounds like you need further evaluation of the nerve itself. An oral surgeon may need to slowly inject individual areas of the palate to find our which nerve contributory is effected. Once this is done, Botox or nerve deadening on a more permanent basis may need to be done.
