It depends...: There should be no problem not exercising on the weekends. 5 days of exercise should be sufficient to accelerate weight loss. As for diet, certainly you don't have to be as strict and can allow yourself some treats on weekends, but it you go totally crazy and gorge on junk food during the weekend you can undo the benefits of your weekday diet. So it's best to be moderate in your indulgences!
