Many causes: Gastroesophageal reflux has been associated with apnea. Sometimes the reflux causes spasm of vocal cords and sometimes apnea.On ranitidine for reflux but slow gastric emptying can cause worse reflux. Snoring means some degree of obstruction to airway such as large adenoids and tonsils. This enlargement is occurring earlier than before.Apnea of prematurity is related to neurologic underdevelopment.
