Unlikely: usually, LPR / GERD are associated obesity. And obesity is ALSO associated with sleep apnea. In fact, it is likely that sleep apnea itself lead to LPR and silent reflux. So if you have any symptoms of sleep apnea, even independent of LPR , you may want to have yourself checked out for sleep apnea.
