Clenching ->headache: Muscles activated by clenching or even just holding the teeth together can cause headaches (especially above the temples) and even trigger migraines. This is called bruxism and can be treated by your dentist. A soft diet (no bread, meat, salad or crunchy food) + 2 Ibuprofen every 6h for 4 days is helpful in resolving pain. A fitted bite guard can prevent recurrence.

Occlusal examination: Headaches/malocclusion (bad bite)/bruxism (clenching/grinding) are often simultaneous complaints, but may be separate but coincident problems. Please see an orthodontist to have your occlusion evaluated.

In my opinion...: In over 40 years of practice, I have never seen crowded teeth, malocclusions, etc. Cause migraines, especially ones that last on & off for weeks. While it would be a good idea to run that by your own dentist, especially if he\she has had training and experience treating patients with head pain, i would tend to look elsewhere for cause. The cause of migraines is often difficult to diagnose & treat.
