See doctor: Staph infections such as impetigo are best treated with an oral antibiotic and/or topical bactroban (mupirocin) ointment. Tumeric can stain skin and also cause an irritant dermatitis especially near the eyes. See a physician for a potential culture to rule out resistant bacteria and for treatment.
