Likely not helpful: Personally, i know of no specific connection to swelling of the jaw following the consumption of alcohol. I would love to have the magic answer for you. It would be very important to know what all those doctors told you following their examinations, but you failed to mention that. Biopsies are not generally taken of intermittent swellings. I doubt that it would show anything.

Are you a smoker?: Smoking and drinking makes your cancer chances higher. You may have a blocked salivary gland, swollen muscle, allergy to alcohol, and possibly cancer. Keep your eyes peeled for a new bio marker test that would tell if you have precursors to cancer. But bring your alcohol to an oral pathologist's office to see if you can reproduce your symptoms. My best to your speedy diagnosis!
