No: Research has shown that babies under about one year of age do not tolerate cows milk- can cause reactions and anemia. Please give her infant formula if you stop breastfeeding until she one year old. Babies start to drink less when they start eating baby food, but if she is not gaining weight please see your pediatrician.

Infant formula: Try continuing to offer breast first--starting on alternate sides (to stimulate milk production)--if your little one simply refuses the breast, consider one of the standard formulae which contains iron and vitamins. Whole milk should not begin till your infant is one year old. Best to discuss this with your pediatrician. By the way any new diet or soaps for you that may influence your milk?
