Common problem: Very often babies do that! It is much easier to get milk from bottle than having to work (suck) to get milk. We recommend feeding from breast first for about 15 minutes from each side; then offer bottle. If the baby is still hungry he or she will take more milk from bottle. It is a good idea to feed from breast for a few days.

Breast feeding: Does he latch on and have a good suck? breastfeeding is hard work 4 a newborn. Sometimes babies get "lazy" after a bottle - the holes in the nipple of the bottle provide a faster fluid flow then your own milk ducts. I would keep at it - allowing him time to latch on. If he's hungry he will suck - worst case scenario - you have to pump your breasts into a bottle. Keep trying
