Daflon & Surgery: For those unaware of action of daflon - it prolongs the vasoconstrictor effect of noradrenaline on the vein wall, even under warm & acidotic conditions, increasing venous tone, therefore reducing venous capacitance, distensibility, & stasis. This increases venous return & reduces venous hyperpressure present in patients suffering from chronic venous disease. It should not adversely affect healing.
