A member asked:

Is yeast infection medicine suppose to stay in your or be discharged out?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

For some time : Most topical anti-yeast medications need to be in contact with the treatment area for at least 1 hour to be effective. If a yeast infection is persisting, see a physician to get an oral treatment such as fluconazole. This medication is very effective but may interact with other medications.
