Visit your doctor: I would advise you to get checked out. In rare situations, what you describe can be caused by a tumor, growth or cancer in the rectum. If caught early, this can be effectively treated. Don't worry, there are many non-cancerous causes too, but you would hate to miss something that needed to be treated urgently.
