Thoughts...: With ear and jaw tightness we think of pressure or fluid behind the ear drum, inflammation or irritation of the TMJ joint, even dental cavities can cause symptoms that can refer to the ear (but this is more likely to cause pain).

My Face and neck started feeling numb last night. It happened after I blew my nose and my ear popped, and did not go away in my neck until three hrs later. I still feel numbness and tightness in my left cheek and now my jaw on both sides feels numb.
Can I pull a muscle in my ear? Two days ago the right side of my jaw felt like it was tight and kinda hurt but woke up felt fine, although my right ear feels different. It doesnt hurt but when I swallow or push up with my tongue I feel it in my ear.
