Many types exist: Glaucoma comes in many varieties with differing severity & mechanisms. Most types can be rather well controlled by appropriate medications (eye drops) & sometimes laser or surgery treatments. In any case, be gentle on your eyes & avoid eye rubbing & avoid being facedown when sleeping. Best to see your ophthalmologist to know your specific options.
