No.: Probably not ocular migraines, they typically last longer. More likely a vitreous detachment or, less likely, an impending retinal detachment. Get a dilated exam by an ophthalmologist sooner than later.

Not normal: Ocular migraines usually last longer. See an ophthalmologist right away to rule out a retinal tear or detachment.

Sudden, persistent (2 days) eye flash. Similar to ocular migraine but only in one eye: size of outstretched thumb. Flash is apparent when blinking but fades quickly. No major pre-existing health problems. shows on bright background not in dark.
