I get aura in vision sometimes in the left eye and sometimes in the right eye. i dont get headaches. last 20-30 minutes. is this ocular or migraine aura? are they dangerous?

Based upon your post, likely that you do possess migraine auras or so-called ocular migraine. Risk of stroke if you add smoking and birth control pills. Otherwise, can be managed preventatively with standard approaches. See a neurologist.
