What causes pain behind left eye? i saw an ophthalmologist, nothing was wrong w/vision. it is constant and very uncomfortable.

Mult. possibilities: You may be experiencing sinus pain or congestion so address that first. Also, some headache varieties such as "cluster" headaches may act that way. If symptoms persist, see your primary doctor & possibly an ENT or neurology specialist. Imaging such as a ct or MRI may be useful.
