A member asked:

Friend has glaucoma, had detached retina & eye dr. says eyes are fine now. he doesn't know why she's been seeing what she describes as a white thick fog & so vision not good. high bp tho dr. doesn't think it is the cause. ophthalmologist please answer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Assuming glaucoma is well controlled and retina is well attached the foggy vision is most likely from changes in the vitreous in the eye having retinal detachment surgery. If so not much can be done to help. Usually will not worsen.
