Chronic sinusitis can certainly lead to pain behind the eye-especially since your eye exam was normal. Is it always the same eye that hurts? Is the sinusitis worse on the side of the eye pain? The best bet to treating this would be to see an ENT doctor-you may need more aggressive medication therapy or you may need a surgical approach. So, see an ENT doctor. Good luck to you!
