Doubt int bleed: Internal bleeding in the leg is usually seen with hard tight painful muscle compartments. It's also very soon after a trauma like that. If he has no pain and is able to move without pain, it's unlikely he has internal muscle bleeding (compartment syndrome). As far as tearing vessels, it's highly unlikely from your description. Set up an appointment to a doctor, he may quality for workers comp.
