Can chewing food where theres no teeth make your top and bottom gums ache like tooth ache but no teeth had to eat on one side because of a tooth out?

Gum health: If your gums are in good condition, then chewing on them should not be so uncomfortable as to feel like a toothache. They may be a little irritated. Should go to soft diet for a few days and make sure you are giving them extra attention when doing your oral care the next few days.
