Ammonia diaper rash: The rash sounds like an ammonia induced diaper rash that comes from concentrated urine. Wash your childs diaper area with soap and water. Use a hair dryer to make sure the area is meticulously dry. Change diapers frequently or leave diaper area exposed to air. Push fluids like water to dilute urine. Use diaper creme combined with an antibiotic ointment.
