Depends: Hi, it will depend on his medical history. If he has diabetes or a history of neuropathy or systemic complication, then he should see his pcp for a referral. If he is relatively healthy, he can wait it out unless the pain gets worse or his toe turns more swollen, red, scary looking. Hope this helps, if so please vote for me. Thanks!
