Lumbar radiculopathy: We usually start with more conservative treatments like physical therapy, exercise, water therapy. You also can use some medications like ibuprofen, tylenol (acetaminophen) .... The next step is epidural steroid injection/nerve block. If you fail all conservative treatment, the next step is surgical evaluation.
