I'm 27/f. had emergency appendectomy 2 mo ago. was back at work 6 days later. now for last week diarrhea and lost 4lbs so now 125. surgery related?

Diarrhea can result after a large amount of colon is removed but generally not after an appendectomy, which removes a small tube-like structure from the cecum. Diarrhea is most commonly due to an infectious etiology (virus or bacterial). If the diarrhea is persistent or severe, it is best to see a doctor.
