Being nitpicky!: In my opinion there is no such thing as being nitpicky when a patient is suffering from pain and a doctor recommends a treatment. I would expect all my patients to ask about the treatments, side effects, complications and outcomes. If a physician does not like you asking questions about your own body, i would think it is time to change the physician not your questioning! keep asking.
