A member asked:

What to do if i have a surgery to take out my salivary stone on tuesday. is this a good idea?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: If you are having symptoms , swelling, inflammation, and/ or infection, and a sialolith is documented to be causing the problems, then by all means get it removed. Go to an oral surgeon experienced in this procedure!
