The story and tests: Allergy testing can be done via skin or blood testing. Both have their advantages, but either way, without a story suggesting food allergy one cannot make a diagnosis. Rapid onset of itching, swelling, hives, wheezing, vomiting, diarrhea, leading towards allergic shock paints the picture of true food allergy; testing only confirms this is the case.
