Yes, but...: ... The majority of things that cause pain in a woman's breast at your age would be benign (not cancer). In fact, most cancers do not cause any pain until very late in the disease. That is why we have to screen for them with mamograms because there are usually no symptoms. Fibrocystic disease, inflammation, infections, some lipoma can cause pain. See your primary for an exam.
