A member asked:

Can you recommend a good topical acne medication?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Benzoyl peroxide: This is the best over-the-counter remedy. Your physician has others. Retinoic acid derivatives are great especially if there are blackheads / comedones. Topical Clindamycin is an effective addition to benzoyl peroxide and clears most mild and many moderately severe cases. If you are responsible for a young person with acne, please get them the most aggressive treatment required. Good luck.
