Unlikely: With severe depression see a psychiatrist and have it treated there are excellent medications whatever the cause.

That might be a : Little young for menopause. Severe depression really needs evaluation. It can have a terrible effect on both your function ; quality of life. Psychiatric evaluation is in your best interest. Take care.
